# PWI Digital publishing data deletion

You can revoke a connected account and ask PWI Digital to delete information retained for the publishing service.

## 1\. Stop the connection

Remove PWI Digital or the business-specific app name shown during authorization from the platform's connected-app or business-integration settings. For Google, open [Google Account connections](https://myaccount.google.com/connections). For Meta, review Facebook Business integrations and your business portfolio's app access. This prevents future use of that authorization.

## 2\. Request deletion from PWI

Email [hello@pwi.digital](mailto:hello@pwi.digital?subject=Publishing%20data%20deletion) with the subject "Publishing data deletion". Include your business name, the platform and account or Page identifier, the workspace if known, and whether you want a connection or all associated publishing data removed. Never send a password, access token or app secret.

## 3\. Verification and completion

We may ask for information needed to verify your authority over the workspace or account. After verification, we will identify and remove the applicable connection credentials, account metadata, drafts, schedules, uploaded media and history held by PWI, subject to any lawful retention requirement. We will provide expected completion timing and confirm completion or explain any exception. Backup copies remain restricted to recovery until replaced under the applicable backup process.

## Content already published

A deletion request to PWI does not delete your social account, business portfolio, channel or content already published on a third-party platform. Use that platform's controls to remove published posts, videos or other records. Tell us if you also want assistance with a specific published item while an authorized connection remains available.
