Connect everything between product data and fulfilled orders.

We build and improve the systems behind e-commerce, from storefront and catalog management to marketplaces, inventory, fulfillment, returns, and profitability reporting.

The whole system, not one layer of it

The storefront is the visible layer of a commerce operation, and usually the best-funded one. Growth exposes the layers behind it: product information that has to be right in five places, marketplaces with their own rules, inventory that must agree everywhere, and fulfillment and returns that turn each order into cost.

We work on the whole chain so the storefront’s promise survives contact with operations.

  1. Product data One source of truth for titles, attributes, media, pricing, and availability.
  2. Storefront and marketplaces Channels receive consistent listings and their own constraints are handled.
  3. Acquisition Advertising, feeds, and attribution bring qualified demand to the right listing.
  4. Order Payment, validation, and exceptions are handled before anything moves.
  5. Inventory Stock is accurate across channels and locations.
  6. Fulfillment Picking, packing, labeling, and shipping follow the rules each channel requires.
  7. Returns Returns are authorized, received, refunded, and reconciled.
  8. Profitability Margin includes the costs that actually occurred, per product and channel.

Where we intervene

Customer

What the shopper sees and does.

  • Storefront experience and product discovery
  • Product information and media quality
  • Checkout paths and trust signals
  • Performance on real devices

Channel

Where the products are listed and promoted.

  • Marketplace listings and feed contracts
  • Advertising and attribution per channel
  • Channel-specific rules and exceptions

Operations

Everything between the order and the doorstep.

  • Order validation and exception handling
  • Inventory across channels and locations
  • Fulfillment and shipping workflows
  • Returns and refunds

Decision

Knowing what to do next, with numbers you can trust.

  • Operational dashboards and action queues
  • Margin and profitability context
  • Data-quality limits stated with every report

Typical starting engagements

Most work begins with one of these. Each is scoped, reviewable, and complete on its own.

Safeguards and evidence

  • Customer, order, product, and marketplace data is never exposed in examples or reports without authorization.
  • Financial figures state their source quality and calculation boundaries.
  • Changes to live catalogs, listings, and fulfillment rules are staged, reviewed, and reversible.
  • External-platform screens and exports are inputs to verification, not proof of the final applied state.

Commerce engineering for a specialty retailer

An anonymized specialty retailer operating a WooCommerce storefront alongside marketplace channels.

Problem
Store behavior, product presentation, structured data, shipping rules, consent, and performance fixes had accumulated across themes, snippets, and one-off plugins.
Our role
Diagnosis, WooCommerce plugin engineering, test design, rollout planning, and release management.
Delivered
A versioned modular plugin covering product schema, taxonomy and category controls, shipping behavior, consent governance, and asset delivery, with tests and module-level rollout controls.
Verification
Deployed to production (checked 2026-08-22)
Result
The versioned plugin is active on the live store, with specific modules verified through tests and live rollout checks.
Outside scope
Scope covers implementation and deployment verification. It makes no traffic or revenue claim.

A packing and shipment workflow for marketplace fulfillment

An anonymized retailer preparing inventory for a major marketplace's fulfillment network.

Problem
Box contents, item identity, weights, and label decisions crossed spreadsheets, reports, marketplace rules, and physical packing work.
Our role
Product design, application engineering, marketplace integration, and release operations.
Delivered
A versioned internal application for shipment preparation, box-content reconciliation, barcode and label decisions, weight handling, operator checkpoints, and recovery from a bad release.
Verification
Internal system in use (checked 2026-09-01)
Result
The current application, release artifacts, and operator workflow are in active internal use.
Outside scope
The proof covers the software and process controls, not marketplace approval of an individual shipment.

Capabilities used in this system

Usually called: e-commerce, online store, WooCommerce, Shopify, Amazon, marketplaces, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, returns, product feeds, ERP, WMS. We do them as parts of one system rather than as separate services.

Questions we hear early

Which platforms do you work with?

Our deepest experience is with WooCommerce storefronts and Amazon marketplace operations, including seller-fulfilled and FBA workflows. Other platforms are evaluated on the quality of their APIs before we commit to building on them.

We already have an ERP or warehouse system. Does that change things?

Usually it helps. We integrate with what you have and only build custom software where the existing tools cannot express your process.

Do we own the software you build?

Yes. Code, data, and accounts stay in your name, with documentation that lets another engineer maintain them.

Can this be done in phases?

That is the default. Each starting engagement is complete on its own, and the order is chosen by where the operation is losing the most.

How do you handle marketplace risk?

Marketplace changes are staged, reviewed, and applied atomically where the platform allows, with the previous state recorded so a change can be reverted.
